You probably wonder what the difference is between one of our pedigreed goats and a pet-goat: Are they sick, mal- developed or have some disfunction??? NO WAY !!! We sell healthy goats only!
The difference between a pet goat and a pedigreed goat is that pet goats were born accidentally, e.g. the buck of one breed snuck out and romanced a doe of another breed, e.g. the alpine buck X nubian doe. The result is a cutie that can not be used by professionel goat farmers for shows or super production. However these cuties usually inherit all the good things of dad and mom and enjoy a hybrid vigour that certain purebreds don't often have.

All of the above does not mean though that you can not have a high class pure bred champion as a friend and pet.

Meet Martha (above). She is tame like a dog and likes the company of children. This past summer she was the star of Wind Chimes Yoga Farm's Children's camp.
She is a cross between a Nubian and anToggenburg (you kinda can tell by the ears)
We are happy to announce that Martha and her pen mate Whispering Willow have found a new loving home in Innisfill, Ontario.

2007 has been an adventuresome year for some of our bucks and does. Once again they failed to look at the breeding chart on the wall and chose their own romances, naughty goats. We now have some very lovely white Nubian type kids and a multicoloured Nubian type doeling that need new homes where they will be loved and able to work for their new owners. Our little mixes are for sale for only $125.00.

It's good for children to grow up with animals, that are harmless and gentle.

We have never seen a child that did not fall in love with a kid (goat baby) or the other way around.

Learning how to milk can be lots of fun, especially when you have a Champion like Aunty M. to learn on.
However, Aunty M. would give way too much milk for a normal household. A pet doe can be milked or left to raise her own kids, which would be a lot less work and still give you enough milk to make your own Parmesan Cheese and coffee cream.

Milly is a real party animal. She likes corn roasts and people, the more the better (roasts and people..............)

Also, Milly likes butter and salt on her cobs, but is not too crazy about pepper.

This picture speaks for itself.
