SilverStreams Farm is located in Washago, ON. Washago itself is situated right between Orillia and Gravenhurst, only 5 minutes away from HWY 11.
At the edge of the Canadian Shield and bordering on two rivers SilverStreams is a rather romantic place to visit. Currently we are raising and exhibit Nubian and Saanen Dairy Goats, Boer & Boer cross Meat Goats.

All of SilverStreams nucleus purebred breeding stock was obtained from well known, industry established goat herds. Building on this heritage, SilverStreams emphasizes the total-performance dairy goat, striving for consistency in conformation and production.

Since its humble beginnings with a grade stock Toggenburg doe that my daughter, Kathy, fell in love with when visiting a petting zoo, the SilverStreams caprine breeding program has spanned more than thirty years and, what began as a pet for Kathy, has blossomed into a full-time career. Kathy has grown up, become Dr. Kathy DVM, owner operator of Lake Country Vet Hospital in Orillia. Kathy is married, and now, has two daughters of her own. Daughter Kathy DVM is SilverStreams resident goat-doctor and the caprine gals look forward to her routine visits and gentle handling.

In the interim years, Kathy's mom fell in love with these wonderful, intelligent, productive farm animals and was inspired to establish the SilverStreams goat herd that now participates in caprine shows and events throughout Ontario, Canada.
