Wwoof stands for Willing workers on Organic Farms

Wwoof Organization is a World-Wide Organization that allows individuals from all walks of life from all over the world to participate in an exchange program.

The exchange is quite simple, the participant in the Woof program commits his/her self for a specific time to go and work on a farm, gaining knowledge from the variety of types of produce to the different management methods used on a particular farm. The host farm provides food and shelter in exchange for this help.

At Silverstreams Farm, we participate in the Wwoof program, as a Host Farm and provide Wwoofers with the experience of working with goats, sheep, cows, waterfowl and chickens. We provide a free-style home atmosphere, where the Woofer is part of the family, and as such, attend many events and social activities with us. We also take trips to museums, the Wye Marsh, Lecock Home etc. We want your experience not only to be on the farm, but to include all the many places of interest in our locale.

If you would like to join us at Siverstreams Farm for a Work experience exchange, you can apply through Wwoof http://www.wwoof.ca/canada/homecanada.html or contact us directly.at brenda@silverstreamsfarm.ca
