Silverstreams farm breeds and raises Nubian and Saanen dairy goats as well as the premier meat goat, the Boer. Our Dairy goats excel in both conformation and milk yield. Our goats are active in the show world where they hold their own against stiff competition. During the last 35 years we have seen our goats and their lineages, that are now owned by other breeders, leading in the show ring.

We have reason to believe that we have some of the best lineages available in Ontario.

2008 has brought multiple health concerns to the old goat keeper and it is these concerns that prompted the need to sell most of the goats. Most of the does have been sold to a local breeder who is operating a milking business. I wish the family all the very best with their Silverstreams purchases and the balance of the does have been given/sold to a friend who wished to add quality purebred stock to her existing herd..
2008 Silverstreams doelings have been retained to keep the best lineages. I have also retained the breeding Boer goats to provide breeding stock and chevon for our customers.
